MealPause — Privacy Policy

Nesvrta LLC ("we," "us," "our") operates the MealPause mobile application (the "App"). MealPause is built to be private by default, and this policy explains what that means.
The short version
There is no account and no sign-in. Everything you record in the app — your fasts, notes, weight, water, measurements, goals, and settings — is stored only on your device. We have no server that receives it, and we do not sell, share, or transmit it. There are no ads and no third-party tracking or analytics in the app.
The one thing that leaves your device is a purchase-status check: MealPause asks RevenueCat, a purchase-verification service, whether MealPause Plus is active, using a random identifier — whether or not you ever buy anything. Everything else you record stays on your phone. See "Purchases" below.
What we store, and where
All of your data lives locally on your device, in the app's private storage. It never leaves your device unless you choose to export it (see "Your data is yours" below). If you delete the app, the data stored on your phone is removed with it. Two things are not: anything MealPause wrote into Apple Health stays in the Health app until you delete it there, and an Apple Watch keeps its last snapshot of your fast until the watch app is removed.
What we do not do
- We do not create accounts or ask you to sign in.
- We do not collect, upload, or store your personal or health data on any server.
- We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, or tracking SDKs.
- We do not show ads.
Apple Health (only if you enable it)
If you choose to connect Apple Health, MealPause reads and/or writes the specific data you permit, on your device, to power features you asked for. That information stays on your device, is never sent to us or any third party, and is never used for advertising. You can revoke access anytime in the iOS Settings app.
Purchases
MealPause Plus is bought through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment and your receipt under its own privacy policy; we never see your card, your billing address, or your Apple ID.
To know whether Plus is switched on, we use RevenueCat, a purchase-verification service. MealPause checks your purchase status with RevenueCat whether or not you buy anything. RevenueCat receives only your purchase status — which MealPause product was bought, if any, and whether it is still active — together with a random identifier it generates for your device. It is not connected to any account, because MealPause has no accounts.
RevenueCat never receives anything you record in MealPause. Not your fasts, your weight, your water, your notes, your mood, your electrolyte, body or blood readings, or anything from Apple Health. Those never leave your device.
We see aggregate subscription counts in RevenueCat's dashboard, not individual people. RevenueCat's own privacy policy is at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
We do not link purchase information to your identity, and we do not use it for advertising. There is no advertising in MealPause.
Your data is yours
You can export a full backup of your data to a file you control, and restore it, at any time from Settings → Import / Export. That file stays on your device or wherever you choose to save it. You can also delete all your data from within the app at any time.
Children
MealPause is not directed to children. The app itself stores nothing about who you are; the only information about you that exists outside your device is the purchase status and random identifier described under "Purchases", which is not linked to any account or person.
